It doesn’t seem that long ago that Ross Perot was the head honcho in the headquarters that his new office would look down upon.  That was EDS of course. EDS has since moved to Plano, TX, as has Perot.

Today I saw that Dell will shell out an estimated 3.9 billion U.S. for Perot Systems, mainly because of interests in the health care sector as well as to gain a foot-hold into the Information Technologies services market. This is a large event in the IT world and the repercussions should be interesting to witness as they develop.
